SUMMER ROAD WORK UPDATES: AUGUST 2023
- Haskell Hill Road: The project to replace the temporary bridge with a new box culvert has begun and is expected to be competed by the end of the month. Traffic may be delayed on Tuesday, August 1 mid morning for approximately 2 hours as the temporary bridge will be moved.
- Webber Pond Road: Tree and stump removal has been completed. Repaving project was awarded to Drew Corp and will begin and be completed this summer.
- Hardscrabble Road: Repairs to be made… (need info)
- Trull Brook Road: The summer-only section is closed until further notice. At this time the town does not have an estimate for when repairs will be made (awaiting FEMA reimbursement funds from May Day storm).
- Marr Road: Only the year round portion is passable, with the summer portion having been badly damaged. Currently the town has no time frame for when or if the summer portion could be opened.
- Fern Drive: The bridge on the Lovell side is washed out; Fern Drive can no longer be used as as an alternate pass through route to get to Lovell.

SAND & SALT
The Town of Sweden Sand and Salt shed is located on Hapsgood Road, just off Waterford Road and is ONLY to be accessed by the Road Commissioner and his winter road crews. Town residents may supply themselves with sand and salt for PERSONAL USE ONLY from the smaller building further along Hapsgood Road, on the right side of the road.
