Located in the restored Center Schoolhouse (1854) and the Forge Blacksmith Shop (1850), the Sweden Historical Society catalogues and documents the stories, photos, and memorabilia of our town, as well as organized annual “Sweden Days” events. Historical Society meetings are held the 3rd Saturday of each month at 9:30 am, at the Sweden Center Schoolhouse next to the Town office.<\/p>

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\nLiving, Learning, and Worshiping, is the culmination of a research project launched in 2012 to celebrate the town of Sweden\u2019s bicentennial in 2013. Featuring full color photographs, maps, and period newspaper excerpts, it offers a concise, readable record of the town\u2019s existing antique buildings and first families.\nThe book is $20 and available at the Sweden Town Office or may be ordered online (plus $5.25 postage). \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
