Town Clerk/Tax Collector/Registrar of Voters
The Town of Sweden, Maine is seeking an individual to serve as Town Clerk, Tax Collector and Registrar of Voters. This 28 hour part time position requires working 14-16 open office hours per week and any other closed office hours to complete the requirements of the position. This position is responsible for Town records and vital statistics; issuance of various licenses and permits; presentation, recording and maintenance of official documents; supervision of elections; tax collection. Applicants should be detail-oriented and possess strong computer skills. Experience in municipal government and TRIO software is preferred however, we are willing to train the right candidate.
