Winter Road Closures

The Board of Selectmen voted on the following Winter road closings for the 2019/2020 season: Trull Brook Road from Lois Lane to Rt. 93, 105 Marr Road to Hardscrabble Road, Bennett Road and Fern Drive from the 1st intersection to the Lovell Town line from October 1, 2019 to May 1, 2020. Foster Bridge to Lovell

The Town of Sweden has been informed by the Selectmen of Lovell that “Maine DOT is recommending Foster Bridge that carries Fern Drive over Kezar River in the Town of Lovell, in Maine DOT Region 1, be closed to all traffic in order to protect the safety of the travelling public. The bridge shall be closed as soon as practical and no later than June 14th, 2019. ”

Sweden Food Pantry

The Sweden Food Pantry is its own 501(c)3 for the benefit of people from Sweden, Fryeburg, Lovell, Waterford, Stoneham, Stow, and Albany Township however, anyone in need of food is welcomed.

The food pantry provides food on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
