The Town of Sweden Town Office will be closed on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 in order for all staff to attend a TRIO User’s Group Meeting and to initiate a database conversion. The Town Office will instead be open on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 from 10am to 6pm for normal business. Please note this change will only apply to the said dates. We apologize for any inconvenience. The Sweden Planning Board will hold a Site Walk and Public Hearing on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 in regards to a proposed amendment to the Popple Hill Estates subdivision. The Site Walk will commence at 6:15pm at Carson’s Way in Sweden. The Public Hearing will be held during the Planning Board meeting, commencing at 7:00pm at the Sweden Town Office. The applicant is Ronald Leavitt of 18 Heritage Drive, Sweden, Maine 04040.

The Sweden Food Pantry is its own 501(c)3 for the benefit of people from Sweden, Fryeburg, Lovell, Waterford, Stoneham, Stow, and Albany Township however, anyone in need of food is welcomed.
