The Town of Sweden has a Town Meeting – Select Board form of government which works to set policy and strategic direction in the best interests of the town as a whole. This is a three member Board, with each member serving a three year term. Select Board meetings are typically held on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month, with occasional variations due to holidays. Meetings are held at 6:00 p.m. at the Town Office Building. 

Requests to be added to the Select Board meeting agenda must be submitted to the Select Board Administrative Assistant by the end of the day Friday, of the week prior to the meeting. The meeting agenda will be posted by the end of the day on the Monday prior to the meeting.
