The Comprehensive Planning Committee is appointed by the Select Board as an ad hoc committee which has general responsibility for the comprehensive plan. The plan is prepared in compliance with the State of Maine “Growth Management Act: enacted by the State of Maine in 1989 Title 30-A, §4312. The current Comprehensive Planning Committee was appointed by the Select Board in April of 2021. A survey was sent out to all property owners in December of 2021, which was published in July of 2022.
